Eric: Welcome to 3-Minute Polish Season 1, Lesson 14 - When Are You Leaving? In this lesson, you’ll learn how to ask when someone is leaving in Polish.

Eric: Here's the informal way to ask 'When are you leaving?' in Polish.
Marzena: [Normal] Kiedy wyjeżdżasz?
Eric: First is a word meaning 'when'
Marzena: [Normal] kiedy [Slow] kiedy
Eric: Last is the word meaning 'you leave'
Marzena: [Normal] wyjeżdżasz [Slow] wyjeżdżasz
Eric: Note the rising intonation. Listen again to the informal question meaning 'When are you leaving?'

Marzena: To say "to leave" in Polish, you would use the verb "to go (out)" because "to leave" sound very strong. You can use either wychodzisz, which means "to go out on foot," or wyjeżdżasz, which means "to go out/depart using a vehicle."
