John: It doesn't have a literal meaning, but when it's used as a slang expression, it means "nothing."

John: Use this expression when you refer to a situation where nothing was said. Typically, it's used when saying that somebody didn't say anything.

John: It literally means "not even for medicine," but when it's used as a slang expression, it means "almost none."
